We can prepare QDROs to divide retirement assets with a flat fee. For all other family law matters we bill by the hour. Generally, clients advance money into the attorney-client trust account so the money can be used for costs and fees as the case advances. How much depends on the case and its needs. We can take cash, check, or credit / debit card.
Each case is unique. Most settle, but whether or not it goes to trial depends on decisions by you, the opposing side, and rulings by the Court. James Moore can be prepared to go to trial if necessary.
